Through a network of facilities across Melbourne and Brisbane, Alex Fraser recycles more than three million tonnes of demolition materials and kerbside glass waste every year, enabling the construction industry to build greener roads that can reduce the carbon footprint of infrastructure projects.

Brendan Camilleri is the General Manager of Alex Fraser Asphalt, Australia’s leading producer of sustainable construction materials.
He oversees asphalt operations across three plants in Victoria and Queensland, processing 650,000 tonnes of asphalt each year.

General Manager | Recycling
Murray Butterworth is the General Manager of Recycling for Alex Fraser, Australia’s leading producer of sustainable construction materials.
He oversees the recovery and manufacture of materials across five facilities in Victoria and Queensland, processing more than 3 million tonnes of material per annum.

Johann Glueck is the National Sustainability Manager for Alex Fraser and Heidelberg Materials Australia.
His focus includes managing the Australian business’ response to Heidelberg Material’s Sustainability Commitments 2030, sourcing alternate material opportunities and improving sustainable outcomes to support Heidelberg Materials Australia’s Sustainability Charter.

Akshay Kumar
Operations Manager
Akshay Kumar is the Operations Manager at Alex Fraser, Australia’s leading producer of sustainable construction materials.
As the leader of Alex Fraser’s Projects and Recycling Productions teams, Akshay is responsible for managing the company’s medium and large size capital projects, as well as overseeing the recovery and manufacture of materials across three facilities in Victoria.
