On Saturday June 4, Alex Fraser participates in Banyo Community day. Alex Fraser was the lead sponsor for the Banyo District Community Group Inc.’s Queensland Day celebrations.

Alex Fraser was the lead sponsor for Banyo District Community Group Inc.’s Queensland Day celebrations.
The event commenced with a citizenship ceremony for 20 new Australian Citizens. More than 1,000 members of the community attended the festival celebrations over the course of the day.
Sales Manager Nicole Bates led the event on behalf of Alex Fraser. She said it was a positive experience meeting and supporting the Nudgee locals.
“Alex Fraser stall representatives connected and engaged with hundreds of residents, school children, business owners, service club members, Councillor Adam Allan and Leanne Linard MP. It was a wonderful way to engage with the locals and meet like-minded people who want to make a sustainable difference in their community.”

Queensland Recycling Sales Manager Nicole Bates receives a Certificate of Appreciation from Banyo District Community Group Inc.’s Reg Neil.
The community focused event was an ideal opportunity for the Alex Fraser Nudgee team to showcase its operations.
“We gave away around 300 seedlings native to South-East Queensland to the Nudgee community on the day, and it gave us an opportunity to engage in sustainability focused conversations with the recipients. We were also able to show the community our recycled glass sand product, which has been in production in Melbourne for around 15 years and it generated a lot of interest and conversation.”
Ms Bates adds, “Thank you to the Banyo community, and especially Reg Neil for organising a seamless day. We are so delighted to support such a special day and event for our community. It was a pleasure seeing the young and young at heart running around repping Alex Fraser hi-vis vests!”
